    design bicycle paths and on road facilities that form a network for non motorized transportation integrated with public transport systems The training course from 31 July 2006 3 August 2006 in Guarulhos Brazil succeeded the Clean Air Initiative s biannual conference held from 25 27 July 2006 in Sao Paulo The World Bank commissioned I CE to finalize the design and contents of the program and coordinate with ITDP New York the inputs of different international and national experts in the program The Transport Secretariat of the Municipality of Guarulhos the Ministry of Cities of Brasil SUTP Movilization were other partners in the program Jeroen Buis was the training coordinator on behalf of I CE The training was interactive to review plans and policies from the participants and to lecture the main issues at stake The expectation was that about 35 professionals would participate in the course However it has been twice as much On the first day there were 65 participants including heads of urban planning departments and less technical people This day was policy oriented and consisted of presentations The interactive training started on the second day About 68 participants took part on day 2 and 3 and

    niet gemotoriseerd verkeer en openbaar vervoer waaronder fietspaden en fietsvoorzieningen De opleiding van 31 juli 2006 3 augustus 2006 in Guarulhos Brazilië volgde op de Clean Air Initiative tweejaarlijkse conferentie gehouden van 25 27 juli 2006 in Sao Paulo De Wereldbank droeg I CE op het ontwerp en de inhoud van het programma te finaliseren en samen met de ITDP New York de bijdragen van verschillende internationale en nationale deskundigen van het programma te coordineren Het secretariaat van Vervoer van de gemeente Guarulhos het Ministerie van de steden van Brazilië SUTP en Movilization waren de andere partners in het programma Jeroen Buis was de opleidingscoördinator namens I CE De opleiding was interactief het onderzoeken van plannen en beleid van de deelnemers en college te geven over de belangrijkste kwesties die aan de orde waren De verwachting was dat ongeveer 35 professionals zou deelnemen aan de cursus Er ware er echter twee keer zo veel Op de eerste dag waren er 65 deelnemers waaronder hoofden van de stedenbouwkundige diensten en in mindere mate technische mensen Deze dag stond in het kader van beleid en bestond uit presentaties De interactieve training begon op de tweede dag Ongeveer 68 deelnemers hebben deelgenomen op
