    browser especially IE8 and later The browser forces the user to save the files first on the local disk before opening it There is a list of allowed MIME types to be opened in the browser directly and PDF files are not on that list The Solution It is a simple web application setting to make you the hero of the day The setting is called Browser File Handling and can be found at the General Settings of the web application The default value is Strict This means only those MIME types on that list are allowed to be opened directly in the browser If you set it to Permissive no security headers will be added and your browser will opened any file directly Here you go you re the hero now but you could do better What if you could extend that allowed MIME types list with PDF You would still have control of the secure environment and open the door only for PDF files PowerShell to the rescue As I mentioned earlier it s a web application setting and with PowerShell you can access this list by calling the property AllowedInlineDownloadedMimeTypes To see what s allowed out of

    Hoewel het standaard mogelijk is om een bladwijzer voor een pagina te maken door middel van het a name element is de manier waarop dit gaat erg verwarrend De optie waarmee een bladwijzer gedefinieerd kan worden is niet beschikbaar totdat een hyperlink wordt toegevoegd Vervolgens moet in eigenschappen de bladwijzernaam worden opgeven Helaas is het niet mogelijk de hyperlink te verwijderen door middel van de UI En om de hyperlink in een ankerlink te veranderen moet de HTLM bron worden bewerkt Als alle bladwijzers zijn toegewezen is het niet mogelijk ze binnen SharePoint op te halen vanuit de UI Bij het toevoegen van een hyperlink verschijnt de keuze om te linken naar een bron op de SharePoint site of naar een externe bron Welke keuze er ook wordt gemaakt de beschikbare bladwijzers zullen handmatig moeten worden gevonden en toegevoegd om de verbinding van de hyperlink naar de URL te maken Eenvoudig werken met deeplinks met Mavention Deep Links Mavention Deep Links is een SharePoint 2010 oplossing die het werken met deeplinks vereenvoudigt De integratie van deze oplossing in een SharePoint interface maakt het makkelijker om zowel bladwijzers te beheren als deeplinks te generen Bladwijzers definiëren met Mavention Deep Links Het eerste deel van de Mavention Deep Links oplossing is de Bookmark Editor Wanneer een element geselecteerd wordt in de Rich Text Editor is de huidige ID te zien Als het geselecteerde element geen ID heeft blijft het veld leeg Zodra een ID wordt ingegeven wordt het ID attribuut toegevoegd aan de HTML bron Met de Bookmark Editor is het mogelijk om welk element dan ook in de Rich Text Editor te voorzien van een bladwijzer of het nu een kop paragraaf of afbeelding is Het gebruik van Mavention Deep Links Bookmark Picker om deeplinks te creëren Het tweede deel van
