    created fun to watch instruction videos which were meant to make customers more familiar with the service while battling any negative sentiments regarding Horizon When UPC introduced MyPrime we came up with a daily social strategy that ended up giving a real face to UPC web care while also drawing attention to MyPrime With targeted recommendations on Facebook MyPrime quickly penetrated the minds of the target audience The web care team started conversations by sharing reviews and tips UPC s four customer segments families millennials empty nesters and dual earners were all specifically targeted When things seemed to go sour for Horizon we decided to produce new positive web care content In a series of non scripted videos with real Ziggo customers people got to know Horizon and its many possibilities Functionalities were explained in videos while the web care team acted promptly to complaints and helped people out which often resulted in positive feedback As a result negative publicity soon sunk to the very bottom of the search engines Results By producing a variety of positive content optimized for search engines the old negative content was suppressed Only on the third result page of Google old frustrations about Horizon

    take to the ice The strategy for this platform was based on these two goals and comes down to connecting supporting and facilitating skaters To meet the first goal we enriched the platform with news interviews results personal stories and an event calendar We did this in a partnership with Helden Magazine who expanded the editorial formula with inspiring stories For those who want to skate there s a special section called Het IJs Op Here you can read about the skate spots in the Netherlands outdoor and indoor natural and artificial All the information is highly accessible as we made it responsive for multiple devices There s a major role for imagery which makes the platform visually attractive We also created three different apps each with a single purpose First we renewed the existing news app which updates users on a continuous base with the latest ice skating news Users of the second screen app can find all statistics during competitions and note compare and discuss lap times If you have the location based app Het IJs Op you can check activities at the nearest artificial ice rink find practical information and watch instruction videos And when it s freezing ice skate lovers come here to check out where they can skate in nature 30 new visitors The new platform attracted more than 30 new visitors Even in the post Olympic year of 2015 the amount of unique visits remained stable The duration of the visits hit 2 50 which proves people actually read the background stories and interviews And while we cut the amount of pages in half the amount of page views slightly grew Conversion from social media is high there s a small group of enthusiasts who read and share a lot On a final note

    emotional bond with visitors and donors We were impressed with the stories that the doctors of AzG shared with us and decided to let these unsung heroes tell their story on the new website This would automatically help reach the second goal recruit donors that generate income We decided to bring the impressive work of AzG staff members closer to home The stories of patients and caregivers now take center stage on the website We also decided to focus on solutions rather than problems in a highly aesthetic and impactful way We wanted to do more than just inform visitors we wanted to have impact which is why we used large full screen images and big bold headlines Personal blogs that feature videos and images inform visitors about the daily lives of caregivers and the struggles they face The color red is used in all donation buttons making the CTA highly visible The result isn t a tearjerker of a website but rather a site that beautifully illustrates an honorable story The chosen strategy proved to be successful large full screen images had a higher persuasion rate and resulted in more donors With this strategy the traditional push method of communicating was quickly flipped to a pull and resulted in an increased number of donors The amount of visitors has doubled The raw emotional photography and articles have inspired and motivated visitors to contribute to AzG In just one year conversion rates have almost doubled and AzG has never collected more money than it did in 2014 Conversion in increased donators Old website 0 7 New website 1 3 Donation record 2013 800 000 2014 1 300 000 By focusing on the story of the doctors the website also meets one of AzG s main objectives to inform society at
